Anna Leong Brophy narrates ITV documentary, 'Kingdom Uncovered: Inside Saudi Arabia'!

Artists

As Saudi Arabia bids to host the FIFA World Cup, a female journalist goes undercover to investigate what life is really like in this increasingly autocratic state. The Kingdom’s controversial ruler Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - often referred to as "MBS" - is spending trillions to transform his country and its international image.  At great personal risk, the journalist uncovers a very different story. Fearful of surveillance, she discovers evidence of illegal working conditions at MBS’ most high-profile project, The Line, violent protests by workers at another site, and claims by others that they are treated like slaves. She films those caught up in a ferocious crackdown on people who criticise MBS’s plans, and obtains rare footage of shocking conditions in Saudi’s detention system. This is the first time footage of this kind has been filmed by documentary-makers since the Crown Prince's rise to power and this powerful film exposes the disturbing reality behind his transformation of Saudi Arabia.
