The queen of country music's new musical begins performances in December. Robert Bathurst will star as Scrooge.
The show, which premiered in Boston in 2019, relocates Charles Dickens' classic festive tale to the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee in the 1930s, where Ebenezer Scrooge is the owner of a mining company town.
The show runs at the Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall from 8 December 2022 to 8 January 2023, with a press night set for 13 December. Tickets are on sale here.
