Struck dumb by a dangerous cycle of depression and grief, Anne attempts to shift her life by taking herself on a cheap holiday, she hopes to find peace, beauty and perspective, but on arrival she’s met with noise, squalor and danger. Threats to her safety force Anne to sleep rough in a unknown place, a chance encounter with another solo traveller, Bill (David Ganly) offers her an unexpected solution and a chain of surprising and often hilarious events unfold between these two strangers. Anne finds her guarded nature challenged by this open hearted yet bruised man, both find space to reevaluate their approach to love and happiness, but opening up offers risks which will either heal them or crumble them completely.
